The Company is seeking a World Class, Strategic Logistics and Warehouse leader with a track record of modernizing, reshaping and driving a culture of continuous improvement across country wide 3PL networks with a view to providing first class service to customers.
Reporting to the national VP for supply chain, this role will require taking responsibility for logistics and warehousing for the company, overseeing multiple distribution centers in Peninsular Malaysia as well as a complex transport operations function. The company is looking for an outstanding individual who can has the ability to manage an extensive program of change management to ensure the continued competitiveness of the Malaysian operation. They will use their experience to develop and implement a business upgrade strategy that drives process improvements, increases efficiencies, enhances inventory management, develops a culture of continuous improvement, delivers unparalleled customer satisfaction and raises safety standards. But most importantly, they must be a hands-on leader who can take the workforce with them on this important journey.
The ideal individual will utilize their in-depth knowledge of warehousing, inventory, transport, value added services, facilities and security to continuously look for ways in which the business can improve. Fluency in internationally recognized processes such as Kaizen and Six Sigma are essential to success in this role.
With an eye for detail, this important member of the country leadership team will have the ability to drive improvements and develop an operation that utilises big data to improve efficiencies and cost savings, ensuring the multiple multimillion-dollar centers increase profitability and customer satisfaction, analysing every aspect of the business to provide maximum effectiveness.
