This leading organisation requires a Carrier Account Manager who will be responsible to drive, lead and build the Carrier business expansion in the Philippines. This is a key senior management position with responsibility for the Companies key product group, driving growth through innovative initiatives that engage not only through devices, but more importantly by working closely with the Carriers to help them develop platform based solutions which enable increased subscriber offerings.
The ability to be an inspirational leader to both internal and external stakeholders is essential as this individual will be a key thought leader for both the Company and the Carriers. Proven track record in initiating and enhancing relationships at the highest level with its Telco partners. They will be the custodian of the brand and ensure that their Carrier Partners fully understand the potential of increased utilisation of platform based solutions, leading to an uptake in mobility based applications thus improving revenue opportunities.
This role plays a key role in advising the Carriers for all sales and marketing activities to achieve long and short term goals as well as being responsible for predictable and consistent interactions with clients and partners alike. You will act as the mentor to your Clients, ensuring that they have the knowledge to increase their capability and deliver a well-orchestrated and unrivalled user experience. Success in this role will require careful development and management of a Client specific strategies in line with the aspirations of the global parent company, as well as an innovative mindset – in reality, success in this role is ONLY limited by your own imagination.
A time served, Carrier/Telecommunications professional with an outstanding track record, the ideal individual will have excelled at delivering in a high energy, fast paced, multi-national environment. Equipped with at least 8 years of experience in a carrier channel management or product marketing/leadership role within a carrier, they must have an in-depth understanding of the Singapore Carrier Landscape with the ability to influence, negotiate and resolve issues. They will have an open mind to technology developments and understand how Mobility Solutions, Platform development and Cloud have, and will continue to, impact the way in which Telco Subscribers utilise the service.
Specific areas of expertise should include: strategic planning, tactical execution, thought leadership, account development, territory management, forecasting, presentations, business solutions, multi-task management, and new business development.
